Gadabout - Pop the Hood
Is there any better time to be alive? That's a trick question, of course, because we've only ever been alive now - at this point in history. But if we could go back, or forward and compare different points in time, I guess we could make an informed judgement.
The Gadabout TM-1050 certainly seems to offer you that possibility - and on a budget too. We haven't been able to verify the content of this poster, printed by Dillinger Printing sometime in the mid-1950s, only that if there's even slim chance of truth in advertising, then it's clear: Any time when a time machine is possible, is the best time to be alive.
Cudworth-Hooper
Cudworth-Hooper began in the 1920s as a supplier of farming equipment, and as their success with hog oilers grew, so did their inventory. Today there are over 36 divisions of Cudworth-Hooper, making them one of the largest manufacturers in the world. Their catalogues have grown larger every year - since they have never discontinued an item, only adding to their product list - so a complete catalog today numbers nearly as many volumes as the Complete Oxford English Dictionary.
